Military Workshop

SOS Tartarugas conducted a workshop for the military.  The soldiers learned about the turtle’s lifecycle and their importance to the marine ecosystem.  Volunteers from the military will join us on

So far 15 nests containing 1,389 eggs (an average of 92.6) have been relocated to the hatchery, the first of which should hatch around 9 August.  We have seen 33 turtles and left 3 nests in situ.
